Boysenberries are members of the Dewberry family of hybrid black- berries. They were developed in 1920 by Rudolph Boysen in Napa Valley, California. They are huge, reddish purple berries, a cross between Loganberry and red raspberry.

Scone mix with a package of freeze-dried wild huckleberries to add into this mix.
